What are some of your favourite quotes from books that you’ve read?

I have so many I can’t possibly list them, but here’s a few of my favourites from books I’ve read recently!

What is/was your most and least favourite subject at school?

I have always loved history, honestly: it’s something I’ve been interested in ever since I was a kid, and now I major in it. On the other hand, I hate math, and I run when I see numbers.

What is your favourite way to spend the weekend?

I usually spend weekends working these days, but my favourite way is … um, reading. No surprise there. Sit me on my porch at sunset with a glass of wine and a book and I’ll be perfectly pleased.

Dragons or Elves?

Um. Dragon elves?

You get to ask ONE fictional character a question, who is it and what would the question be?

THIS IS A LOT OF PRESSURE. Um. I’d love to ask Nina Zenik to go on a waffle date with me?

What is your favourite film?

Honestly? I don’t really have a favourite film, because I don’t watch many movies.

What is your favourite trope in a book?

I adore found families and enemies to lovers!

What is your number 1 blogging tip?

Ooh, I don’t know, I’ve only been blogging for a short time! But I’d say interaction is always key, because that’s how you make friends and get to know people and become excited about your blog. Talk to people!

You get to work with any author (dead or alive) on any project, who would the author be and what would the project be?

Victor Hugo. I don’t know what the project would be, I just want to spend some time with Victor Hugo.

Which elemental power would you want (air, water, earth or fire)?

Air, I suppose – there’s a lot you can do with air powers when it comes to manipulating the elements, such as bending air to become invisible, or making, say, air conditioning. (No, I’m not currently in a hot place with no air conditioning, why would you think that?)

How do/would you organise your books on your shelves?

I honestly just organize them by what feels right. There is, therefore, no real rhyme or reason to how I organize my books: my favourites are all on my bed’s headboard so I can reach them easily when I want to revisit old favourites in bed.

My two other bookshelves are usually organized by genre and author. I try to keep books by the same author together, but sometimes I’ll just put books where they look right regardless of color, author, or genre. It makes sense to me!
