Top Ten Tuesday is a bookish meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
I’m a mood reader at heart, so the only true TBRs I have are my stack of library books (…I have like, 10 right now?) and ARCs (ditto). That only means there are so many books that I need to pick up. These are the ones that I desperately want to get to this spring!
First up are my three most anticipated fantasies of the spring: Descendant of the Crane by Joan He, We Hunt the Flame by Hafsah Faizal, and The Red Scrolls of Magic by Cassandra Clare. I’ve already preordered these ones and I am SO excited for these to release.
Next are a bunch of romance/contemporaries: Red, White, & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston, I Was Born for This by Alice Oseman, and the Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang. I’ve heard so much about both RWRB and The Kiss Quotient. Alice Oseman has been a favourite author of mine for a while so I can’t wait to get to IWBFT.
Lastly, a bunch of backlist fantasies that I’ve been meaning to get to for forever! The Poppy War by R.F. Kuang, The Gilded Wolves by Roshani Chokshi, Outrun the Wind by Elizabeth Tammi, and The Wicked King by Holly Black. I have heard wonderful things about all of these and they’re all completely up my alley, so I’m excited to get my hands on them.
